The British Council IELTS Partnership Programme is a membership scheme for organisations that register and prepare candidates for IELTS. It’s been designed to show appreciation for the support that your institution offers us.

There are 4 levels of membership - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Depending on the number of candidates members register with the British Council the membership status is reviewed at the end of the year.

The benefits accumulate as you move up the levels enabling a long-term mutually beneficial partnership between your organisation and the British Council.

Who can participate in the British Council IELTS Partnership Programme?

All organisations that have registered a minimum average of 3 IELTS candidate per month with the British Council for 3 months continuously are eligible to participate.

We have just started registering candidates with the British Council. How do we participate in the programme?

If you are a new organisation, you can enroll in the programme after 3 months of consistent performance based on average registrations per month.

What other prerequisites must we satisfy to participate in the British Council IELTS Partnership Programme?

All organisations who register candidates for IELTS using the British Council online registration system are also required to sign an agreement with the British Council valid for a period of two years.

How long is our membership valid for?

The programme membership is awarded based on average candidate registrations during a fiscal year and is valid for the following two years. The membership status will be reviewed at the end of that period.

When and how will we receive the membership benefits?

On a quarterly basis, we will compile your requests for various benefits including resource books and DVDs. These materials will be dispatched to your organisation during the following month, with a minimum lead time of three weeks.

As your level of membership is valid for one year, benefits corresponding to that level of membership can be redeemed at any time during that period. Certain products that are part of membership benefits will be sent to you directly while others will be made available on request. However, the date and time for provision of certain benefits will be decided at the sole discretion of the British Council.

What are the financial benefits that British Council provides for online registrations?

We will provide ` 200/- as an administrative fee for each candidate you register online. The total amount due to your organisation will be calculated on a quarterly basis at the end of March, June, September and December. As long as a minimum of 20 candidates have been registered in that quarter, payment will be made the following month. If your organisation has not registered 20 candidates in a quarter, the amount due will be paid in the subsequent quarter(s) once you have reached the threshold level.

Will membership benefits be the same next year?

As we constantly seek to improve our services, the membership benefits will be reviewed periodically, taking into account the feedback from partner organisations across India.
